closing of $15 million Series C funding from existing
investors, Crescendo Ventures, Techno Venture Management, High
Tech Private Equity and Atila Ventures/ETV.

Marketing, Business Development and Sales for North America.
Previously, Aramideh was a member of the leadership team at
Corvis responsible for introduction of the company’s
all-optical networking products. Aramideh played a key role in

The CoreOptics development organization moved to new offices.

CoreOptics GmbH was formed in Nuernberg Germany today
After inception of the CoreOptics Inc. in January its German
subsidiary, the CoreOptics GmbH is now operational as of Monday,
February 12, 2001. Four Managing Directors (Geschäftsführer)
have been appointed so far to run the GmbH: Georg Röll,
Theo Kupfer, Achim Herzberger and Christoph Schulien.

CoreOptics Inc. was formed in the State of Delaware today
As of January 26, 2001, CoreOptics Inc. is officially incorporated
as a Delaware corporation. As the next step in the formation
of the corporate structure, we expect the incorporation of
the German subsidiary of CoreOptics Inc., the "CoreOptics
GmbH", to be finalized within a one-week time frame.
After that, CoreOptics will have fully operational legal entities
in both countries. Georg Röll and Roberto Schettler have
been appointed as initial directors. Following initial officers
have been elected: Georg Röll assumes the function of
president, Roberto Schettler the function of treasurer; Albert
L. Sokol and Christopher W. Nelson of Edwards & Angell
LLP assume the functions of secretary and assistant secretary,
respectively.
