Multi Channel Packet over OTN Mapper Chip (CO40POM10)

Description

The MCPOM is a combined Dual Channel 10G SERDES and Ethernet to OTN mapper that can be used with the MUX40V to enable a complete 43G Muxponder solution.

The MCPOM supports two XFI interfaces allowing direct connection to XFP modules and supports data rates from 9.96Gbit/s (G.707) to 11.1 Gbit/s OTU-2 (overclocked).). Two SFI-5s interfaces are provided to allow connection to the MUX40V.

When a client is configured to 10G Base-R the MCPOM will map the Ethernet signal into an OPU-2 and then creates an OTU-2iA frame to enable the MUX40V to further process the signal.

The device is available in both RoHS5 and RoHS6 packages.
