CoreOptics is at the forefront of technology development. With our work in Electronic Distortion Equalization (EDE), we leverage Maximum Likelihood Sequence Estimation (MLSE) to create a leading-edge transponder that addresses the physical layer challenges of optical fiber transmission and enables cost effective, higher-capacity next generation networks.

CoreOptics has validated an algorithm implementation and DSP architecture that enables cost-effective transition for carriers upgrading backbone networks from 10G to 40G DWDM. In addition to being more cost-effective than currently available technologies, our coherent technology also sets the foundation for 100G optical networks.
