CoreOptics' unique strength is an end-to-end network understanding, enabling the team to address the physical layer challenges of optical fiber transmission to enable cost effective next generation networks.

To deliver this value to our customers, CoreOptics is introducing advanced analog and digital electronic signal processing to resolve physical layer fiber transmission impairments using proven silicon technologies at very low incremental cost.

As a first step towards this objective, CoreOptics has developed MSA compliant transponder platforms at 10/40 Gbit/sec. CoreOptics transponder solutions enable a seamless transition from proprietary internal transponder designs to MSA compliant solutions.

Furthermore, CoreOptics advanced transponder platforms will enable carriers to further reduce the total capital and operational cost of the existing networks and offer new revenue generating services.
